Dr. Diana Arcila

Dr. Diana Arcila

Dr. Diana Arcila established her own dental practice upon obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (University CES, Colombia) in 2000. As the dental practice took on a successful path, Dr Diana continued her professional development obtaining Diplomas on Restorations over Implants and Advanced Oral Surgery.

Her passion for greater understanding and exploring of periodontal diseases and oral surgeries inspired her to achieve specialisation in Periodontics and Osseous Integration (Universidad Cooperativa, Colombia) and Implantology Oral Rehabilitation (New York University, USA) in 2007, with more than 1,800 implants successfully placed as of today. Dr Diana’s thorough knowledge and expertise in Periodontology was quickly recognised by Universidad Cooperativa in Colombia where she was invited to join their team of lecturers in 2007.

Dr Diana has also travelled around the world attending conferences, workshops and symposiums to gain up-to-date knowledge on the latest developments, innovations and technology in the dentistry field. These countries include Brazil, Italy, India, the USA, Spain and Argentina, among others. Dr Diana’s most recent achievement includes qualifications on Dentofacial Aesthetics including the application of Dermagen Fillers and Skincare treatments as part of smile designs.

But Dr Diana’s professional development has not stopped there. In 2012, Dr Diana obtained a Master Degree in Health Leadership and Management (University of Wollongong, Australia) and completed an Eight-Week Internship at the Royal Hospital of Melbourne in 2014.

Dr Diana is an active member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), the Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS), the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI) and the Australian Dental Sleep Medicine Group (ADSMG).
